Explore the Innovative Belkin Switch 2 Cases
Recently, I finally acquired the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2, and I have been thoroughly enjoying it. However, I faced a challenge in utilizing one of its standout features: the portability of the handheld console. This situation is somewhat misleading, as I could technically have taken the console along since I first got it, but my cautious nature held me back. There was absolutely no way I would risk bringing my precious Nintendo Switch out into the world without a reliable carrying case. In my opinion, it is essential for every Switch to include a protective case, but, of course, Nintendo prefers to sell these accessories separately.
The days of my Nintendo Switch 2 being confined to the house are now a thing of the past. Thanks to Belkin’s new charging case, I finally feel secure enough to travel with my beloved console. I often find myself uncertain about the quality of third-party accessories, as they can vary widely in performance and reliability. However, in this case, Belkin has truly hit a home run with their product.

Firstly, the design of the case is impressive. Its durable, hardshell exterior not only looks great but is also minimalistic, avoiding excessive graphics and branding that can often clutter the aesthetic. I personally chose the sand color, but I find the charcoal and pistachio green options equally appealing. However, the true highlight of this case lies within its interior features.
Upon opening the case, you will discover an integrated rechargeable power bank conveniently located at the center, held securely by a small velcro strap. The Switch console fits snugly over it, ensuring that there is no risk of scratching when placing it inside the case. When you need some additional battery life, you can easily thread the included USB-C cord from under the handheld device to charge it, whether you are playing or while it remains safely packed. This convenience allows me to enjoy extended gaming sessions without the anxiety of a low battery, and the built-in battery features a compact LCD display that indicates the remaining power level. This feature has already proven invaluable, saving me from leaving home with a depleted power bank.

Additionally, the case offers ample extra storage, including a mesh pocket perfect for holding cords, accessories, and more. I personally utilize this space to store the battery cord, a charging block for when I need to recharge the power bank, and my Joy-Con covers that are designed for the Switch’s mouse mode. There is also a convenient flap in front of the pocket that can accommodate up to 12 Nintendo Switch game cards. While I currently own only digital copies of games, I am eager to start filling those card slots with physical titles in the near future.
