Ada Law’s Mom Challenges Chappell Roan’s Security Claim

Cat Cavelli — whose daughter Ada Law was allegedly brought to tears by a security guard after an encounter with Chappell Roan — is firing back at CR’s claims that the security guard wasn’t a part of her team.

In a video posted Sunday, Cat — whose real name is Catherine Harding — states that while she can’t confirm if the man was Chappell’s personal security guard, she insists he was not part of the hotel staff and was with CR.

In case you missed it (ICYMI), Cat’s 11-year-old daughter Ada — whom she shares with ex Jude Law — allegedly walked by Chappell Roan’s breakfast table at a hotel in Brazil. According to Cat, Ada did not cause a disturbance or take out her phone for a picture. She simply walked past. Then, Cat claims, a security guard reprimanded both her and Ada to the point that Ada was shaken to tears.

The incident prompted a post from Cat’s husband, soccer legend Jorginho, calling out the pop star, who later apologized.

Chappell claims she was unaware of the incident. According to the singer, she never saw either the child or her mother. She insists that whoever scolded them was not part of her security team.

However, Cat believes CR bears some responsibility.

She stated, “I think you have a responsibility when you are a celebrity to ensure that the people who work for you and act on your behalf are acting appropriately.”
