Music logo redesign by Apple: Opinions on the change

This month, numerous Apple Music enthusiasts expressed their discontent upon seeing the app’s new logo for the first time. following Apple’s clarification, it appears that opinions are shifting positively.

Apple released a brief YouTube video (via MacRumors) showcasing the upcoming redesign of Apple Music, set to launch with iOS 27.2. The revamped app logo features a black and white design with a touch of Liquid Glass, departing from the previous red color scheme associated with Apple Music. In the video, Apple explained that the new visuals were “made by sound.” Essentially, sound was played through a container filled with liquid, causing it to vibrate at the music’s frequency, which inspired the design of the new app logo.

For this redesign, Apple collaborated with music producer Fred Again and NEST Acoustics, ensuring a fresh and innovative approach.

When news of the new logo began circulating in early October, many fans took to social media to voice their dissatisfaction. a search for “Apple Music” on X today reveals that some users are beginning to embrace the change, particularly after Apple’s detailed explanation.
