Many of these gameplay elements will resonate with long-time fans of the franchise. the introduction of a slow-motion camera effect interrupting standard gameplay is a fresh twist that Rockstar Games likely intended to keep under wraps, especially since they have yet to showcase actual gameplay footage.

Internally, Rockstar Games, along with its parent company Take-Two Interactive, is diligently investigating the leaks. They have reportedly received subpoenas for records from GitHub, Microsoft, and Discord servers from a federal court, aiming to identify those responsible for the breaches.
Even Xbox CTO Scott Van Vliet has addressed the matter, expressing commitment to supporting efforts to combat intellectual property theft. He stated in a post on X that “[Xbox] are collaborating closely with Take-Two and Rockstar Games to safeguard creative works and protect intellectual property.”

The primary leaker, operating under the alias Cyberleeks, has demonstrated remarkable confidence in his actions. He is now demanding up to $165,000 (in cryptocurrency) from those interested in advertising their content alongside his leaked footage, as reported by Yahoo Tech.
While these leaks undoubtedly pose challenges for the developers at Rockstar Games, they may also serve to amplify anticipation for what is shaping up to be the largest game launch in history.
