Brenda Fricker Iconic ‘Home Alone 2’ Pigeon Lady Passes Away at 81

Brenda Fricker, the acclaimed Oscar-winning actress beloved for her role as the Pigeon Lady in “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,” has passed away, as confirmed by TMZ.
According to her agent, Phil Belfield, Fricker quietly passed away Thursday night in Dublin after battling health issues.
He expressed, “We will never see her like again; the world is diminished by her absence. I was privileged to know, love, and work alongside her. She will forever hold a special place in my heart and in the hearts of countless film and TV fans around the globe.”
Fricker earned the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 1990 for her portrayal of Daniel Day-Lewis‘ mother in “My Left Foot.” However, many children from the ’80s and ’90s fondly remember her from “Home Alone 2” and “Angels in the Outfield.”
At the time of her passing, she was 81 years old.
