LinkedIn has introduced a new feature called collaborative posts, allowing creators to invite other LinkedIn members to co-create in-stream posts. This innovative option aims to enhance engagement and collaboration among users.

To access LinkedIn’s collaborative posts, users can utilize the new Add Collaborators feature located within post settings, which can be accessed from the composer options. This functionality enables users to invite other LinkedIn members or company pages to collaborate on their posts.
LinkedIn emphasizes the importance of collaboration, stating: “Great ideas love company. Whether at work or in life, some of the best moments of success and creativity come from collaboration. Think of new product launches, executives breaking major business news, creators sharing brand partnerships, or teammates celebrating company milestones. There’s almost always multiple people working behind the scenes to make magic happen.”
This new collaborative posting option aims to facilitate such teamwork and celebrate achievements within the platform.
The company further stated, “In time, members and LinkedIn pages will be able to share posts together on LinkedIn, and people will see all collaborators listed at the top of the post.” They are currently testing this feature with selected creators and brands at the Cannes event, with plans to expand the rollout in the coming months.
This initiative is part of LinkedIn’s broader strategy to enhance creator monetization on the platform.
Earlier this month, LinkedIn also launched its own Creator Marketplace to assist brands in discovering relevant LinkedIn creators for promotional collaborations. This marketplace will enable brands to sponsor user posts as well.
These updates, alongside enhancements to its BrandLink offering, will create additional opportunities for LinkedIn creators to monetize their profiles. This shift aims to encourage more users to engage actively and cultivate their presence on the platform.
Collaborative posts also present brands with a valuable opportunity to leverage member networks, which typically generate greater reach compared to posts made solely by company pages.
