“We’re all young adults navigating adulthood and life’s challenges,” Shepherd expressed in an interview with ABC News’ Aaron Katersky on ‘Good Morning America.’ “We haven’t done anything wrong, and we’re confused by the overwhelming negativity directed at us.” Other community members have chosen to retreat from social media due to the backlash. Ashlee Cole, a local judge whose son was part of the group with Nolan, mentioned that she temporarily deactivated her account due to concerns over threats and the distribution of her family’s images online.

Attorney Ben Crump Announces Case Will Proceed to Grand Jury

Attorney Ben Crump, representing Nolan’s parents, stated after discussions with the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office that the investigation will advance to a grand jury once the sheriff’s inquiry concludes.
