The renowned star of “16 and Pregnant” took to her social media platform on a Tuesday, following the tragic passing of her beloved son, Weston. In her post, she shared a couple of photos capturing cherished moments together—one nostalgic image from his infancy and another more recent snapshot that encapsulates their bond.
In both of the shared photographs, Purvis is seen smiling brightly while holding her son closely to her. In her poignant caption, she emphasizes that these snapshots represent just a fraction of the countless memories she will treasure forever, serving as a reminder of their unbreakable bond.
Whitney reflects on the beautiful moments she shared with Weston, recalling his favorite songs, the various phases of his childhood, and significant milestones such as his first day of school. She cherishes the memory of the first time she held him tightly in her arms and the last time she hugged him, along with countless other experiences that marked their journey together.
She poignantly states, “I love you, Weston, more than words could ever describe. Rest in peace, my beautiful boy,” encapsulating the depth of her love and the profound loss she feels.
As reported, Weston was found unresponsive in his bed early Monday morning around 7 AM. His stepmother, Amy Gosa, shared this tragic news via Facebook, highlighting the family’s grief during this devastating time.
Gosa mentioned that the family is still awaiting autopsy results, which are crucial in understanding the circumstances surrounding Weston’s untimely passing. She hinted at ongoing health issues that Weston had been battling for some time, including diabetes, which may have contributed to this tragic situation.
Whitney was pregnant with Weston during the inaugural season of ’16 & Pregnant’ back in 2009, a journey that showcased her early experiences as a mother.
Tragically, Weston was just 16 years old at the time of his passing, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Rest in Peace
