The AI assistant narrated the video, detailing, ‘A dog jumped on the counter and looked at the cookies on December 12th at 1:29 PM.’ While this was a pre-recorded clip, it illustrates the potential of AI in smart home contexts.”

  Celebrity Encounters: will.i.am’s Continued Influence at CES

  

  No CES experience would be complete without celebrity-driven product launches, and will.i.am has made his mark once again at the conference. Known for his previous ventures, such as the PULS bracelet, he continues to collaborate with LG, who recently appointed him as the company’s Experiential Architect to work on the xboom audio product line.

  During the event, Billy Steele had the opportunity to test the LG xboom speakers, which include a trio of models. The Grab, the smallest speaker, impressed him with the depth of bass it delivered during the demo. Here’s what Billy noted:

  “I was pleasantly surprised by the punchy bass produced by the xboom Grab, alongside its crisp highs and solid mids that maintained detail. Although the low-end tones felt slightly muted, my short listening session necessitates a more thorough review to confirm these impressions. Notably, the xboom Grab is capable of producing an astonishingly loud sound, reaching uncomfortable levels even at only 50 percent volume.”

  While exploring CES, we encountered intriguing products that raised hygiene and comfort concerns. One such item was showcased by a company named Kirin, featuring a fascinating product called the Salt Spoon. This innovative spoon utilizes electrical technology to deliver umami flavors.
