Detroit Lions Cornerback Terrion Arnold Surrenders to Authorities in Florida … Firmly Asserts His Innocence
Published
Terrion Arnold turned himself in to law enforcement on Wednesday evening in Florida facing multiple felony charges, including kidnapping and robbery. The Detroit Lions standout insists he has committed no wrongdoing and plans to demonstrate his innocence in court.
Arnold, 23, is currently detained at a Hillsborough County jail facility after being processed at 10:11 PM.
The allegations consist of four counts of robbery involving a firearm or deadly weapon and four counts of kidnapping with the intent to harm or intimidate. These charges stem from an alleged incident that occurred in Tampa in February.
Rumors surrounding these allegations have circulated for months. Arnold, a first-round draft pick in 2024, has consistently maintained his innocence throughout this period.
Following his surrender, Denise White, Arnold’s representative, firmly asserted that her client has done nothing wrong, emphasizing the absence of compelling evidence against him.
“Terrion Arnold categorically denies any participation in the events leading to the allegations against him and is committed to proving his innocence,” White stated in a communication to TMZ Sports.
“There is no credible evidence connecting Mr. Arnold to these claims. The prosecution seems to rely on testimonies from several convicted felons who have acknowledged their involvement and may have significant motives to shift blame to reduce their own sentences.”
White reaffirmed her commitment to contesting the charges against Arnold vigorously.
“Mr. Arnold looks forward to his day in court and believes the judicial process will ultimately lead to his vindication.”
Arnold is currently being held without the possibility of bond.
