Millie Bobby Brown Reveals Unique Wedding Dance Routine with Jake Bongiovi
Millie Bobby Brown has opened up about her recent wedding to Jake Bongiovi, sharing exciting details that highlight the couple’s creativity and love for performance. This beloved actress, known for her role in Stranger Things, provided fans with a glimpse into the couple’s special day and the memorable moments that made it unique.
During an appearance on the latest episode of the Name Her Daddy podcast, Brown elaborated on the intimate details of their wedding, particularly focusing on the couple’s enchanting first dance. She excitedly revealed that their first dance turned into a spectacular six-minute choreographed performance, showcasing their commitment to making their wedding unforgettable.
“I can’t believe Jake actually did it. We performed a Grease medley. It began with ‘You’re the One That I Need,’ moved into ‘Summer Nights,’ and then went into ‘We Go Together.’ It was a fun medley of Grease,” she shared, highlighting the playful and nostalgic elements of their routine.
Moreover, the Stranger Things star mentioned that the couple decided to forgo their formal wedding attire for this performance, dressing up as iconic characters Sandy Olsson and Danny Zuko. These beloved roles, famously portrayed by the late Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta, added a delightful twist to their wedding celebration.
“It was epic. It was unbelievable. People couldn’t believe what they were witnessing,” she added enthusiastically. “I looked at Jake and said, ‘If you let me down on this, we’ve been practicing for a year and a half. We took dance classes!’” Her passionate commitment to the routine showcased how much thought and effort they put into this significant moment.
“It was extremely important for me. I’ve always wanted to do something like this,” she expressed. “I told him, ‘It’s either this or I’ll dance down the aisle alone.’ So, it was his choice. Jake agreed, and he loved every moment of it.” Her determination reflects her desire to create lasting memories on such a monumental day.
After a year and a half of dedicated practice, Brown confidently stated the couple didn’t miss “a single beat.” She told CHD host Alex Cooper that she has no regrets about their unconventional first dance, emphasizing how it was a true reflection of their personalities and relationship.
“I don’t regret it for a second. It was like we put on a show, and since he’s also an actor, we just loved being able to perform for everyone,” Brown gushed, showcasing the joy and exhilaration they felt while entertaining their guests.
As for the performance by another famous family member, Brown mentioned that Jake’s father, renowned singer Jon Bon Jovi, chose to enjoy the evening in a more relaxed capacity, embracing the role of a supportive father rather than taking the stage. Brown expressed her happiness for this decision, emphasizing the importance of family and presence over performance.

“Honestly, he had so much fun. He definitely danced the night away. We had moments where we danced together,” she said of the iconic singer. “Jake’s mother is such a dancer; she loves it, so we danced the night away. Honestly, I’m so happy that he was able to be just the father of the groom, and I was really happy for that,” she reflected, emphasizing the joy of their shared family moments.
