Social Media Took Off After Goose Enters Dodgers/Padres Playoff

SALT LAKE CITY – During game two of the Dodgers/Padres NLDS MLB Playoffs series at Dodger Stadium, an unexpected goose entered the field.

At the bottom of the eighth inning, with the San Diego Padres leading the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-3, a goose entered the field of play and was just chilling in shallow right field. As you would expect, social media couldn’t get enough of the goose.

Play continued with the goose on the field, and the Dodgers got a batter on base. The Dodger Stadium crowd thought they had a “rally goose” on their hands.

The Padres ended up winning the game, 5-3. Game 3 of this series now shifts to San Diego on Friday night at 6:37 p.m. on FS1.
