Samsung is set to achieve substantial profits through its memory chip sales.
As reported by Reuters, the company is expected to announce a remarkable profit increase for its second quarter, projecting an 18-fold rise compared to the same quarter last year. This translates to an estimated profit of 86 trillion won ($56.35 billion) for the April to June period, up from just 4.7 trillion won ($3 billion) in Q2 2025.
This anticipated figure is based on estimates from 30 analysts and highlights the ongoing shortage of memory chips. The growing demand for these components has significantly boosted the stock prices of key manufacturers like Micron and Hynix. As the world’s leading memory chip producer, Samsung stands to gain substantially from this market disparity.
