“I loved deeply, believed wholeheartedly in the life we were building, and wanted nothing more than to protect our family,” Serayah expressed in her statement. “Regrettably, I had to confront a painful reality: there had been ongoing infidelity throughout our relationship, including during some of the most vulnerable and significant times of my life.”
Serayah made it clear that she did not seek sympathy, revenge, or to “tear anyone down.” Her purpose in unveiling her experience is to encourage other women to recognize red flags and take action without second-guessing themselves. “If your intuition signals that something is amiss, heed it,” her statement advised.

She referred to Joey as “this person,” outlining how he proposed to her, expressed a desire to build a life together, and even had her relocate to be closer to him, only to betray her trust. After insisting that he wanted her and not “that life,” Serayah accused Joey of pursuing relationships with other individuals.
In another Instagram Stories video, she shared an audio recording of Joey speaking to an unidentified woman. In the recording, he appeared to be discussing a situation involving Serayah and their son’s grandmother, though it remains unclear if the grandmother is from Joey’s or Serayah’s side. The woman in the clip reassures Joey, saying, “she’s just lashing out,” adding that Serayah feels “embarrassed.”
