Richard Simmons is up in heaven together with his trademark tank high and shorts, working up a sweat … at the least that is what his brother mentioned at Richard’s celebration of life.
The late health guru was remembered Saturday in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana … and his brother, Leonard, in contrast him to Clark Kent throughout a touching eulogy at St. Louis Cathedral.
Leonard says Richard was like Superman in that he at all times had his tank high and shorts on beneath his outfit — like Clark maintaining his superhero getup beneath his civilian garments.
Richard’s brother says he is up in heaven watching down on his followers and household, and “will eternally be sweating with the holies.”
Whereas Richard’s bro mentioned solely about 8 individuals had been current at RS’ non-public funeral, the celebration of life in NOLA is a public affair … and it appears to be like like there is a large turnout.
The road drew a giant giggle from the group … and for good purpose.

TMZ broke the story … Richard died in July, when he fell in his rest room after which refused medical help the evening earlier than. Cop later mentioned his demise was unintended as a consequence of problems from the autumn, and listed coronary heart illness as a contributing issue.
Richard, who was 76, was buried in Los Angeles on the Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park and Mortuary … and now he is getting some critical love again residence.
