“My main goal was to reach a point where we could be friends because we have a son together. I tried to focus on that,” she continued. “I definitely had a few weak moments, but that has not happened in a long, long time. That was in the very beginning of our separation.”
The couple shares a four-year-old son named Cruz, which adds another layer of complexity to their relationship dynamics.
“I would never do that now,” Brittany asserted. “Are you kidding me? No. And he did it to me many, many times, trying to persuade me to reconnect intimately.”

The devoted mother emphasized that after their separation, Jax attempted to rekindle their romance; however, she realized that reconciliation was not a viable option once she moved out of their shared home. This acknowledgment marked a significant turning point for her.
“It was really hard for me because I still loved him very much. That is the only reason I had weak moments here and there,” she admitted, highlighting the emotional conflict she faced.
“And Jax is a love-bomber; he knows how to say the right things and manipulate situations to make me believe he would change,” Brittany continued. “It’s challenging when you love someone not to hope that could truly be the reality.”
“I always knew we weren’t going to be able to get back together from the moment I moved out. I’m not going to backtrack like that ever again,” she shared, indicating a newfound strength and clarity in her decisions.

Elsewhere on the After Show, Jax expressed his feelings of betrayal upon discovering Brittany’s past involvement with his friend, Julian Sensley, revealing the emotional scars that accompany such revelations.
“I see texts to Julian while I was on vacation, so that’s what triggered me. How I reacted, I wish I could take that back, but show me a man who wouldn’t go crazy after finding out their wife is texting their friend about sexual matters,” Jax stated during the After Show, highlighting his emotional distress.
“At that time, too, I’m not blaming anything, but I was on a lot of substances, I was drinking, I was using drugs, I was spiraling out of control,” Jax, who recently opened up about his cocaine addiction, continued, providing insight into his struggles.
The camera shifted to Brittany defending her actions, clarifying that the only times she communicated with Julian were during her separation from Jax, reminding the audience of the challenges she faced throughout their tumultuous marriage.
“Imagine having to read the nasty, disgusting messages from multiple women that are sent to my DMs — there’s no comparison between him and me,” Brittany stated, illustrating the emotional toll of public scrutiny and personal betrayal.
Regarding Julian, Brittany added, “He did make me feel good, and it was like, I needed that. I had no confidence anymore. And I did enjoy my time with him.” However, that relationship also ended after he “lied to me about a lot,” including the fact that he was allegedly “living with his baby mama,” highlighting the complexities of her dating life.
Fun fact: During the chat, Lala revealed she too once dated Julian, referring to him as a “hanger-onner.” Meanwhile, Jax expressed that he now wants “nothing to do with that man,” underscoring the rift between the friends.
