As a number of flashes of Elphaba’s scenes play out, the trailer shows an emotional dialog between Ariana, 31, and Cynthia, 37. Their characters share a tearful second when Glinda locations the black witch hat on high of Elphaba’s head.

After Glinda tells Elphaba to not be “afraid,” Elphaba insists, “It’s The Wizard who ought to be afraid of me.” Ethan’s character, Boq, then seems wanting up towards the sky simply as Elphaba flies away on her broomstick.
The forged of Depraved has been gearing up for its extremely anticipated launch. Earlier this week, Ariana shared a behind-the-scenes selfie of her and Cynthia carrying their costumes. In her Instagram caption, the “Break Free” artist wrote, “80 days,” referring to the film’s launch.
