I attended nearly every test screening for that movie here in LA, and it consistently scored in the mid to high ’90s.” He highlighted the film’s impressive audience ratings, adding, “[It’s] pretty remarkable. Like The Day the Earth Blew Up, it offers much more than just humor; it includes deeply emotional scenes that resonate with viewers, especially the moments that tug at your heartstrings for the coyote.”

Last year, Coyote vs. Acme co-lead Will Forte took to social media to express his feelings about the film’s uncertain fate on X, stating, “When I first heard that our movie was getting ‘deleted,’ I hadn’t seen it yet. I thought what most people would think: this thing must be a hunk of junk. But then I saw it.
