Jay Leno is taking steps to have the courts in New Hampshire acknowledge his wife’s conservatorship from California. This move is essential for him to proceed with the sale of one of their properties located in New England, as reported by TMZ.
Jay has expressed his intention to sell a piece of real estate that he and his wife, Mavis, own in the Granite State. This filing is a crucial step towards making that sale a reality.
TMZ has acquired court documents submitted earlier this month, in which the comedian informs the court of his desire to sell “certain real estate located in New Hampshire” that they jointly own as community property.
The property in question is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom ranch-style home built in 1995, which is currently listed for just under $400,000. Jay initially put this property on the market back in June.
Throughout Mavis’s challenging journey with dementia, Jay has been her devoted caregiver.
The court has not yet made a decision on this matter.
