Nelly’s Witty Comeback to Persistent Photographer Request
In The Shade Room’s comment section, fans showered the couple with compliments and praise. Ashanti, who welcomed her first child last summer, received the majority of the virtual accolades, showcasing the support from her admirers!
Aside from their dazzling outfits and the celebration of Ashanti’s stunning postpartum body, there was another memorable moment on the red carpet that had fans buzzing. It involved Nelly playfully addressing the press. As they made their way along the red carpet, photographers urged the rapper to kiss Ashanti on the lips. After one persistent photographer asked three times, Nelly delivered a clever and humorous response!
“I always kiss my wife,” he remarked with a smile.
Both the photographer and Ashanti couldn’t help but chuckle at his witty remark. While it remains a mystery as to why Nelly opted not to fulfill the kiss request, it’s important to note that the evening was primarily about celebrating Ashanti’s achievements at the DGA Theater Complex. Fans will soon get to witness Ashanti’s acting in the Robert Craig film No Address, set to premiere in theaters on February 28.
