However, it’s time to shift your focus away from the incredible Weyoun figure that you can hardly believe will soon be part of your collection. io9 has an exciting announcement to share: the second wave of Nacelle’s Star Trek action figure lineup is on its way!
Finally, Star Trek collectibles have evolved beyond their peculiar past and are now offering figures that truly reflect what fans have craved for decades. This was announced during Nacelle’s Star Trek action figure panel, featuring Nicholas Meyer, the esteemed director of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, at this weekend’s WonderCon in Anaheim, CA. The second wave of figures kicks off with an exceptional entry:
Captain Kirk from Star Trek: Generations – This figure was first teased at the recent New York Toy Fair, and it’s the only one so far accompanied by prototype images. Pay attention to the unique accessories that come with it: a jar of dill weed! HORSE!

A recent press release from Nacelle highlights the vision of its founder and CEO, Brian Volk-Weiss, who is not only a dedicated toy enthusiast but also a passionate Star Trek aficionado. He emphasized that these releases are created “by passionate Star Trek fans, for Star Trek fans,” taking into account fan feedback and suggestions when selecting which characters to feature. Notably, wave two boasts ten figures, expanding on the eight characters offered in the first wave.
“Our goal is to adopt a straightforward yet strategic approach with this line,” Volk-Weiss explained. “We aim to strike the perfect balance between introducing characters as toys for the first time and creating modern renditions of the main cast in their duty uniforms. By actively listening to our fellow fans, we hope to have curated a lineup that will keep excitement alive for many years to come!”
The meticulous attention to detail in wave one was outstanding (just look at those carefully selected accessories!), and we eagerly anticipate the full reveal of wave two when those images become available.

Currently, you can pre-order wave one at the Nacelle Store. These initial figures are expected to ship out in October, priced at $29 for individual figures or $225 for the complete set. There is no announcement yet regarding the pre-order availability or shipping date for wave two, but we will keep you updated with any new developments.
