My Hero Academia Finale Set for Release Next Year

The My Hero Academia anime came to a big end last weekend—but as fans predicted, there’s one more part of the story to tell.

During the anime’s 10-year anniversary at Jump Festa on Saturday, Toho announced an epilogue episode fittingly titled “More.” Adapted from Chapter 431, the episode will jump years ahead to show the state of Japan after the war against All for One and how the 1-A crew has grown now that they’re Pro Heroes. The chapter was an exclusive for the manga’s final volume, and it was the only main chapter to not release during the manga’s serialized schedule.

Bones’ adaptation of My Hero Academia hits the decade mark on April 3, 2026. In its press release, Toho said the anime’s run “represents not only a decade of unforgettable stories, heroic characters, and epic battles, but also the incredible support and passion of our global audience.” Along with the extra episode, a world concert tour for its score composed by Yuki Hayashi will begin in May, starting in Pacifico Yokohama before branching out to international venues.

The press release teased more reveals to come in 2026, so we’ll be waiting to see if those plans include a fifth movie. Until then, the “More” episode will hit Crunchyroll on May 2, 2026, followed by the world concert tour starting on May 30.
