“MrBeast Is the Elon Musk of YouTube & PewDiePie Is the Kanye West” – KSI, Lazarbeam & Vikkstar React on MrBeast Soon Overtaking PewDiePie on YouTube

MrBeast has been making great strides lately with his channel breaking records on YouTube. Apart from witnessing an unexpected success with his content, he’s also overshadowed many other creators who were once the face of the red platform. One such prominent name is of PewDiePie.

It’s already known to almost everyone that MrBeast will soon dethrone PewDiePie in terms of being the most subscribed individual on YouTube. He hasn’t actually expressed his thoughts on this interesting situation, until now. During a recent appearance on a podcast, Jimmy finally spoke about the ultimate comparison and Felix’s ongoing presence on the platform.

MrBeast reveals thoughts on PewDiePie while being called the ‘Elon Musk of YouTube’

Jimmy sat down with KSI and his Sidemen in an episode under the second season of their Sidecast podcast. The session ran for more than an hour, involving various topics being discussed between the king of viral videos and the hosts.

KSI, however, decided to trick MrBeast with an unexpected question at the beginning of the episode itself. Welcoming him to the show, KSI asked, “You are about to overtake PewDiePie. How do you feel about that?”

MrBeast was stunned to hear this question, as he wasn’t anticipating anything like this. “How did that come from?“, he asked while being completely surprised. But then he went on to express his thoughts on what he feels about PewDiePie and his channel’s state on YouTube going forward.

“He doesn’t upload, hardly at all,” said Jimmy while emphasizing on the fact that Felix has stopped being consistent with uploading the content on a regular basis. Furthermore, he said, “He’s really retired.”

“He just doesn’t even remotely cares. I mean it’s kind of sad but it’s cool,” MrBeast tried to focus on the simple situation that if he really wanted to, PewDiePie could have made a comeback but it’s all about the interest eventually. And going by Jimmy’s response, it seems likely Felix has left craving for massive attention on the streaming platform.

Interestingly, though, Lazarbeam, who wasn’t in the frame during the episode, had come up with a comparison between Mr. Donaldson and PewDiePie just before the podcast. When asked by KSI to mention it again in front of Jimmy, Lazarbeam said that according to him, MrBeast was the “Elon Musk of YouTube” while “PewDiePie was like the Kanye West.”
