President Donald Trump Why the Air Force One Change Wasn’t My Decision!

President Donald Trump clarified that the unexpected switch of Air Force One was not his decision. He revealed that the Secret Service and military personnel instructed him to board a different aircraft due to a security threat.
Trump spoke on the matter Tuesday, emphasizing that he adheres to the advice from his security team. “I rely on the Secret Service and the military. They recommended I take a different flight, a different plane,” Trump stated.
He added, “I simply have to follow their instructions.”
Trump’s remarks confirmed the intricate security operation initially reported by The Washington Post, where he discreetly left Air Force One following last month’s NATO summit in Turkey due to a credible threat associated with Iran.
Reports indicate that Trump was concealed in an airport catering vehicle and transported to a smaller military aircraft. Meanwhile, Air Force One departed with White House staff and journalists, unaware that the President was not aboard. This maneuver effectively served as a decoy.
Trump did not disclose further details about the threat on Tuesday, emphasizing that he entrusted the decision-making process to his security team.
