For one of these talented singers, the hope of advancing lies in tonight’s Group B Finals. The Ding-Dong-Hold-It-On Bell could come into play, especially since the panel opted not to use it for Group A. The question remains: will they utilize this crucial element tonight, or will they save it for the highly anticipated Group C Final in three weeks?
Regardless of the strategy, one contestant will be sent home tonight. The anticipation builds as we prepare for the dramatic reveals. Before we delve into the unmasking, we are treated to some of the most spectacular performances in the history of this series. If we had been wearing masks while watching, they certainly would have been blown off by the incredible talent displayed tonight!
Let’s dive into this week’s thrilling performances. Don’t worry; before we reach the shocking unmasking(s), we’ll power through the often hilarious, sometimes wild guesses made by our esteemed panel of Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Rita Ora first. Dramatic Showdown in Group B Finals
(“Fun, Fun, Fun,” The Beach Boys) Considering the immense talent these three possess, we found ourselves slightly underwhelmed by the energy level of this opening number. This upbeat song celebrates having a good time (until Daddy takes the T-Bird away). Vocally, all three contestants performed solidly and quite evenly, with Wasp initially appearing the weakest but ultimately nailing that high note at the end. Their performance was enjoyable, but it didn’t quite reach the greatness we anticipated.

Spectacular Performances of the ’60s Night
Unforgettable Performance by Goo
(“House of the Rising Sun,” The Animals) Goo delivered an astonishing full-scale rock concert experience that left the audience, the panel, and viewers at home absolutely stunned. He began with a deep, soulful drop before launching into an incredible chorus, hitting high notes and wailing like a soul singer who just found his calling. This performance was on another level, showcasing pure talent and passion—truly insane and unforgettable!
Clues & Guesses: The latest clues revealed Goo’s determination, as he mentioned he needed a year to achieve his goals, and he’s just beginning to truly believe in himself. He was seen holding golden coins, a conductor’s baton, and even moved a rook chess piece, all hinting at his journey and aspirations.
The visual clues included sheet music on a stand that also held the baton, a bag of those gold coins, and cotton candy being tossed behind him. Additionally, a blue rotary phone was featured, which he answered while mentioning he received that “rare call” that put him on the “rise.”
His on-stage clue was an “Innovations of the ’60s,” JELL-O. Inside was a large whistle that prompted Goo to sing, “O say can you see,” before adding, “That has a special meaning to me in a couple of ways.”
In his second week’s clue package, Goo visited a theme park, where he shared insights about his fiancée who helped him transform from a “grumpy” person to a joyful one by encouraging him to dance. Visual clues included a church dress complete with a cross, a golden ticket, and a bowl of fried ice cream, which might have been an empanada.
His toy clue resembled an entire Malibu Barbie Dream House. Goo explained, “This right here is a dream home,” which is fitting for Robin, as he knows he’s a fan of that style.
One striking feature about Goo is his size, as he appeared to match Nick Cannon’s 6’0″ stature. This aligns with his Masked Ambassador, Keenan Allen, who referenced his journey, indicating that this performance would reveal a softer side of Goo.
The masked singer also offered a clue about sports by showcasing a tackle box and discussing his desire to “tackle everything” that came his way while growing up. He revealed his sensitive side, recalling tough days in school that left him in tears, until he found inspiration through his brother’s guitar playing.
We were treated to a scene of a train pulling a car filled with disco balls, along with a French horn, as Goo discussed becoming a “music nerd” involved in an a cappella group and music lab, even winning awards for his efforts. On stage, we saw music cleats, with Goo stating, “For me, you might want to focus on the sole of the shoes.”
Rita guessed 2024 NBA All-Star game participant Anthony Hamilton, connecting the baton to his diverse career. Ken, however, stood firm on his guess of the towering 6’4″ Brian McKnight, believing the gold coins pointed to gold records, as McKnight has often sung the national anthem.
Robin attempted to outguess Jenny by discussing a soulful rendition of the national anthem for ESPN, with the gold coins linking to Leon Bridges’ third studio album, Gold-Diggers Sound.
The clues and social media speculation are tightening around one significant guess: Los Angeles Rams rookie Kobie Turner. His high school history included participation in a cappella groups. This week’s conductor baton adds to the train clue, leading to his high school nickname, “The Conductor,” and a compelling clue is that he is engaged to Alissa Villanueva.
Jenny’s mention of the rook chess piece could relate to all of his rookie accolades, including leading all rookies in sacks and finishing third for Rookie of the Year while making the PFWA NFL All-Rookie Team.

Captivating Performance by Bluebell
(“Do You Love Me,” The Contours) Bluebell selected a song that ultimately didn’t showcase her vocal range, resulting in a performance that fell short of the mind-blowing talent we had seen from her earlier. While she possesses a wonderful voice and captivating stage presence, this crucial moment of a double-elimination round required her to shine. Unfortunately, her song selection may have hindered her chances to impress the judges.
Clues & Guesses: Bluebell shared her journey from the heights of success to a significant drop, expressing feelings of being unloved. She described facing writer’s block for years, which only lifted when she embraced motherhood, highlighting the transformative power of her experiences.
Visual clues included a sugar container, her tearing a carnival ticket in half, and an image of white lilies. Her ’60s toy was an Easy-Bake Oven, which Bluebell used to craft a Vegemite sandwich, considered a “delicacy” in her homeland.
Her previous clues highlighted the struggles she faced after achieving her big break, revealing how everything seemed to unravel. Financial difficulties followed, but it was her pivot to a different talent that opened new doors and allowed her career to flourish once more.
Bluebell mentioned writing lists of her aspirations, never doubting her ability to achieve her dreams. The clue package featured her journaling, an image of a dragon, a sun-flower, and a torn polaroid, symbolizing her growth and determination.
On stage, her toy clue was an astronaut, and Bluebell remarked, “I’ve been able to take you out of this world since my arrival.” Was that perhaps a hint of an accent we picked up on during her performance?
Upon our first introduction to Bluebell, she displayed a playful side, getting quite “touchy-feely” with Nick, which could serve as a clue in itself. Her Masked Ambassador, Kelly Osbourne (known as Season 2’s Ladybug), mentioned that Bluebell is all too familiar with being “tabloid fodder.” They have indeed made headlines together.
Kelly noted how Bluebell experienced overnight fame, which brought along a whirlwind of gossip surrounding her personal life. As her popularity surged, so did rumors about her relationships with rock stars, billionaires, and royals, yet she only found “real love” recently.
Visual clues included Bluebell rocking out on a blue guitar adorned with a phoenix sticker and ripped blue jeans. Kelly added “cargo pants” and “crop tops” after Bluebell remarked, “I’m sort of having a moment.” That reflected her ambition for participating in this competition. Her on-stage clue featured a pair of fancy rollerblades, where Bluebell stated, “I try to roll with the situation, but I always rock it out.”
Ken made a connection between the Vegemite clue and Rose Byrne, considering her role as a mother. Rita leaned towards the Australian soap Neighbours for the sugar clue, landing on British icon Kylie Minogue, who starred in that show. However, Jenny thought Rita’s reasoning was a stretch, suggesting Naomi Watts instead.
However, the most popular guess on social media appears to be the most accurate one. The torn ticket and last week’s Polaroid referencing her breakout single, “Torn,” suggest Natalie Imbruglia. She also had an album named White Lilies Island, which connects to the lilies in the clue package. After a multi-year hiatus from music, she returned in 2019, the same year her son was born.
