Some true-crime junkies are getting approach too pushy, trespassing on the former home of the Menendez brothers … and Beverly Hills police are dreading what that might imply for Halloween, TMZ has discovered.
This is the deal … due to a hella in style Netflix collection and doc … individuals have been swarming the prosperous Beverly Hills location the place Lyle and Erik Menendez brutally murdered their mother and father in ’89 … the duo later claimed it was a response to the extreme lifelong abuse they endured.
Police inform TMZ … what have been initially calls from pissed neighbors about an uptick in foot and automotive site visitors  — annoying, however not unlawful — have now escalated to straight-up trespassing … and in a single case, an obvious break-in caught on TikTok.
Now … police are nervous it may spiral into an even bigger clusterf*** with Halloween proper across the nook … so discussions are underway about how greatest to keep at bay any idiots looking for a spooky thrill.
For the second … the home is empty because it undergoes main renovations … which has little doubt led to the brazen sightseers. It is also undoubtedly not serving to that some Hollywood tour buses (however not TMZ!) have added the block to their route … unloading teams of individuals on the world.
Police have already stepped up patrols within the space to relax out irate residents … however we’re informed extra must be achieved as Halloween will get nearer… perhaps even non-public safety, which is being advisable to property homeowners.
TMZ beforehand reported … Menendez Brothers-inspired costumes have turn out to be a hot-ticket merchandise this season … so it is not far-fetched to imagine somebody on the market is perhaps seeking to get a creepy snap on location.
One factor is for certain … cops and neighbors certain as hell hope the Monster Mash is held elsewhere!
