Haley Kalil’s Legal Battle Over Privacy Claims
Is Discussing Sexual Pain an Invasion of Privacy?
Published
Haley Kalil is engaged in a legal dispute regarding a lawsuit filed by her ex-husband Matt Kalil. The lawsuit stems from her claims that his large penis negatively impacted their marriage.
In recent legal documents, Haley asserts that she never explicitly named Matt during her podcast discussion. She described her husband’s member as being comparable to two or three stacked Coca-Cola cans.
- Haley claims her comments were not directed at Matt.
- She argues that both are public figures.

Haley contends that Matt’s lawsuit suggests “viewers could and did readily infer” she was talking about him. She argues this inference arises from their status as public figures.
- Haley is a former SI Swimsuit model.
- Matt played seven seasons in the NFL.
In his lawsuit, Matt claims Haley’s “invasive commentary” disrupted his efforts to maintain privacy post-retirement. However, Haley argues that he is still a public figure, making his claims invalid.
Haley asserts that no existing case law supports the notion that a woman’s truthful account of her sexual pain constitutes an invasion of privacy for another individual.
A judge has yet to make a ruling on Haley’s motion to dismiss Matt’s lawsuit.
Haley’s attorney, Matthew Bialick, stated: “A woman’s right to provide a truthful account of her own relationships and past sexual trauma is fundamental to First Amendment protections. Mr. Kalil’s brief mentioned the First Amendment three times but lacked any constitutional analysis. We are confident this case will be dismissed, and Ms. Kalil will be awarded her attorneys’ fees.”
