Here’s What Marjorie Taylor Green Said To Dr. Fauci
According to Newsweek, a hearing took place on Monday, June 3, to “examine COVID-era policies and the origin of the virus.” Fauci, who previously directed the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), was in attendance.
Furthermore, the outlet notes that Fauci “was the main scientific face for the federal government” during the COVID pandemic.
During the hearing, Greene reportedly “admonished Fauci multiple times.” The republican representative reportedly held up disparaging headlines mentioning Fauci, “questioned COVID-era rules,” and even probed into how much money he earned from pharmaceutical companies during the pandemic.
“Do you think that’s appropriate? Do the American people deserve to be abused like that, Mr. Fauci?” Greene asked. “‘Cause you’re not a doctor, you’re Mr. Fauci in my few minutes.”
Ultimately, Greene told Dr. Fauci that she didn’t “need” his answer and asserted that the physician should be thrown in prison and have his license “revoked.”

Dr. Fauci Speaks On The Rep’s Viral Comments As She Continues To Pop Off
Later on Monday, Dr. Fauci addressed Greene’s comments while appearing on a live broadcast of CNN. The physician seemingly explained that Greene’s comments prompted additional death threats to be sent his way.
“It’s a pattern… Whenever somebody gets up… and makes a public statement that I’m responsible for the deaths of X number of people because of policies or some crazy idea that I created the virus, immediately… it’s like clockwork, the death threats go way up,” Fauci explained. “So that’s the reason why I’m still getting death threats — when you have performances like that, [an] unusual performance by Marjorie Taylor Greene…”
Fauci ultimately stated that there’s a section of the population “who believe” nonsense statements like Greene’s.
On Tuesday, Green took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share another spicy reaction toward Dr. Fauci.
“No one should get death threats, and I get them ALL THE TIME… It’s not my comments that have people furious at Mr Fauci, it’s the FACT that his ridiculous, non-scientific, tyrannical policies DESTROYED people’s lives and he’s a narcissistic a**hole and liar which is why SO MANY people hate him,” she wrote. “Under Mr Fauci’s leadership, viruses have been turned into deadly bioweapons and animals are murdered and abused, while he and his cronies get RICH off of patents they made while receiving government funded paychecks and running powerful government agencies that dictate medical guidelines and regulations. And Mr Fauci calls all of that SCIENCE! Mr Fauci belongs in prison for crimes against humanity!!!”
No one should get death threats and I get them ALL THE TIME.
But lucky for Mr Fauci, he has Secret Service Protection at the tax payers expense.
