Just two weeks before Jay-Z’s New York shows, Lil Wayne was absent from one of his own concerts. The Bangor Daily News reported that he missed a performance in Bangor, Maine, on June 30. He later addressed his absence on his Instagram Stories on July 5, as reported by Billboard.
“I have epilepsy,” the artist explained. “I have seizures, right? Thank God I haven’t had a seizure in years, but seizures have triggers. A trigger to my seizures is bad migraines. I had a f*cking migraine that night. It was recommended I don’t get in the air.”
