The ‘A Milli’ hitmaker responded late on Friday, February 7, addressing the former NBA player directly with a tweet that asserted, “The Warriors thought they were getting a Taylor Swift or a Beyoncé and ended up with a #kendrickperkins Stop playing, bh,” Wayne wrote. Meanwhile, Nicki has yet to publicly respond to Kendrick’s comments.
Kendrick Perkins’ Remarks on Nicki Minaj’s Status
During a recent episode of ‘NBA Today,’ Perkins discussed the potential trade of Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors.
In the midst of the conversation, he remarked, “Listen, I was looking at the Warriors, thinking they’re going to land a Beyoncé or a Taylor Swift. Instead, they ended up with a [Nicki Minaj]. And that’s alright!”
His co-hosts warned him that Nicki’s passionate fans, known as the Barbz, would surely retaliate, and they did not disappoint! The Barbz unleashed a torrent of criticism on Perkins, prompting him to apologize on X, stating, “Wish I had known about the Barbz before sharing my Nicki Minaj take… don’t hold it against my heart 
My sincerest apologies, I’m not looking for any trouble!”
