Tragic Lightning Strike Ends Family’s Quick Dash Indoors
Kameron Glasgow recounted how the family noticed the rain intensifying after arriving at his aunt’s home. In an effort to get the girls inside quickly, Kenya Glasgow, 31, and their 2-year-old twin daughter, Kennedi, rushed from the car toward the front door. Unfortunately, a lightning bolt struck them as they ran. Their other twin daughter, Kensli, remained safely inside the vehicle at that moment. Both Kenya and Kennedi were taken to separate hospitals but, tragically, succumbed to their injuries shortly thereafter.

He urged everyone who knew his wife and daughter to treasure the joy they brought into their lives, sharing these touching words:
“I just lost my best friend. My daughter just lost her best friend,” he wrote. “…I’m hurt; we are hurt, but if you’ve had the chance to experience the beautiful light my wife and daughter brought into your life, cherish it … Kenya, Kennedi, I love you both so much. I thank you both for choosing me as your husband and father.”
