KEVIN MCHALE FROM GLEE SPEAKS OUT ADDRESSING THE SHOW’S “CURSE” “ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!”

Kevin McHale expressed his outrage towards fans who label the beloved series as “cursed” due to the tragic deaths of several cast members.
The former “Glee” star took to X on Wednesday, condemning individuals who treat the untimely deaths of his co-stars as if they were part of a bizarre conspiracy.
“I need to log off because the way many of you discuss real people who have died as ‘sacrifices’ or as part of a ‘curse’ related to a television show is absolutely unacceptable and disconnected from any sense of humanity or reality,” he stated, adding, “Just stop.”
Since “Glee” first aired in 2009, three main cast members have tragically lost their lives.
Cory Monteith passed away from an accidental overdose in 2013 at the age of 31. In 2018, Mark Salling died by suicide at 35, just before his sentencing for child pornography charges. Naya Rivera tragically drowned in Lake Piru in 2020 at 33 after heroically saving her four-year-old son, Josey.
Supporters rallied behind McHale in response, emphasizing that the deceased were real individuals with families and friends who are grieving, not mere characters in a fictional narrative.
The renewed discussion about “Glee” follows co-creator Ryan Murphy‘s revelation this week that he has considered revisiting the series, noting that a new generation has recently discovered its charm.
