On February 12, TMZ released an exclusive report revealing that Wendy Williams participated in a phone interview on the ‘2 Angrey Men’ podcast. During her appearance, she articulated her belief that the guardianship she is under has become a mechanism for others to manipulate her finances, utilizing her funds as they please. She expressed her frustration over the lack of transparency regarding her own financial matters, a situation that has left her feeling vulnerable and exploited.
Furthermore, Williams recounted the troubling beginnings of her guardianship. She specifically pointed out instances where her son allegedly “overstepped” his financial boundaries, leading to significant trust issues between them.
“He overstepped his boundaries, and he was inappropriately using my money without telling me anything about it,” Williams stated in a clip from TMZ’s series ‘Saving Wendy.’ “Like, is he stealing from me?… That’s when my money got frozen at Wells Fargo, thank God. No more money stealing from my son and the other people.”
While visibly emotional, Williams described her son as a “good person” overall.
“But at this point, he is a horrible person for me,” she continued. “The way he interacts with these other individuals. And what’s happening with these other people at my apartment in Miami? And what’s going on at Wells Fargo?”
According to TMZ, Kevin Hunter Jr. has denied any wrongdoing regarding his mother’s financial situation. However, a court ruling has suggested that he is not capable of safeguarding her from potential financial exploitation.
