Jorge Lopez Calls the Mets the ‘Worst Team’ in MLB, Tosses Glove – Hollywood Life

Jorge Lopez didn’t hold back when he was speaking about his feelings about playing for the New York Mets in a postgame interview on Wednesday, May possibly 29. Immediately after becoming ejected from the game, the pitcher, 31, threw his glove more than the protective netting into the stands, as he walked off the field. In a post-game interview, he disparaged his group when asked about the incident.

Jorge was ejected from the game against the Los Angeles Dodgers throughout the major of the 8th inning. Immediately after the third-base umpire tossed him out of the game, the pitcher walked towards the dugout, ahead of taking his glove off and throwing it into the crowd. The Mets lost ten-three, and their record is 22-33 for the season.

Immediately after the game, Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said  that Jorge’s behavior was “not acceptable.” In a post-game interview, Jorge was asked about the manager’s comments and if he regretted the incident, which was when he roasted the Mets. “No. I do not regret it. I feel I’ve been seeking [like] the worst group possibly in the complete f**king MLB. So what ever occurs occurs,” he mentioned. “I’ll be tomorrow right here [sic]. If they want me, what ever they want to do. I’m going to retain undertaking this factor. I’m healthier.”

Jorge reiterated that he was prepared to retain playing if the Mets would have him. “I’m prepared to come back tomorrow. If they want me to be right here, I’ll be right here,” he mentioned. Nonetheless, it appears like the Mets are seeking to reduce Jorge from the group. A supply told MLB.com that they had decided to designate the reliever for assignment.
