The widow of Johnny Gaudreau has shared her first messages since he was tragically killed by a suspected DUI driver on Thursday … and it’s heartbreaking.
As TMZ beforehand reported … the NHL star and his little brother, Matthew, had been hit and killed whereas using their bikes. The suspect within the case has since been charged with their deaths.
Meredith Gaudreau on Saturday shared two devastating posts on social media about her husband’s loss of life … and defined what an incredible husband and father he was.
“Thanks for the most effective years of my life. Regardless of dropping you, I’m nonetheless the luckiest woman on this planet to have been yours. I like you so, a lot,” she wrote together with a number of footage of the completely happy couple.
“You had been good. Some days it felt too good to be true. I like each single factor about you. You’re my without end and I can’t wait to be with you once more. I like you a lot without end and ever.”
In one other put up, Meredith described Johnny as an incredible dad and “greatest accomplice.”
The terrible story has a number of layers of tragedy — Matthew’s spouse is seemingly anticipating to ship the couple’s first child in just some months. And, the bothers’ sister was to be married on Friday. That has since been delayed.
Authorities say a drunk driver hit them from behind at round 8:20 PM on Thursday. The suspect, 43-year-old Sean Higgins, has been arrested for his position within the crash and is going through two fees of loss of life by auto.
Johnny was 31. Matthew was 29.
