This anticipation is understandable, as many consumers are eager to see how the iPhone Duo will tackle challenges faced by its competitors. With the device not expected to reach retail shelves until next month, we currently only have limited hands-on impressions to inform our understanding.
A standout feature of the iPhone Duo is its nano-texture display, designed to minimize the visibility of the crease on the screen. Early observations suggest that this display indeed reduces the apparent crease, but we will need more time to assess its long-term effectiveness.

Many tech reviewers and YouTubers are likely to conduct extreme durability tests to evaluate this aspect.
During the hands-on demonstrations at the Apple event, the crease on the iPhone Duo’s screen appeared minimal. Yet, even the most thorough hands-on impressions represent a fleeting moment in time before any wear and tear has had a chance to develop. Upcoming reviews, including our own, will provide insights based on the device’s initial condition, which may change significantly after a few months of use.
Nonetheless, Apple deserves recognition for creating a screen that significantly reduces crease visibility right out of the box. This innovation is likely to prompt competitors to accelerate their efforts to develop similar technology.
