Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle has been frequently spotted alongside Christos Marafatsos. His presence at official functions has sparked considerable curiosity and speculation.
Christos, whom Trump once referred to as a “good-looking guy,” is not an elected official but serves as a paid lobbyist, as reported by the Wall Street Journal.
As the ambassador to Greece, Guilfoyle has reportedly made efforts to persuade various foreign governments to establish gas agreements with Aktor, a significant player in the industry.
Who is the registered lobbyist for the gas conglomerate and has received $160,000 for his services? That would be Christos, according to the WSJ.
Beyond attending numerous meetings across various countries with Kimberly, Christos reportedly arranged for her to travel to Bulgaria aboard a private jet.
Aktor, which recently secured a $6 billion contract with Albania, responded to the WSJ by stating that “Guilfoyle wasn’t improperly promoting Aktor’s commercial interests.”
At the same time, legal representatives for Guilfoyle, Marafatsos, and Aktor have all denied any allegations of misconduct.
