However, complaints have been recorded as early as April 18 and 19, indicating that this glitch has persisted for some users longer than others.
No matter when this bug began to affect your images, the Instagram team has assured users that they have corrected the issue. If your photo posts are still appearing in black and white, Instagram has informed users that the fix will automatically restore your affected images to their original colorful states within the next few hours. “We apologize for any inconvenience,” they added, emphasizing their commitment to user satisfaction.
