- Open the menu (press “Start).
- Scroll to the right of the top carousel and select “Options/Quit”.
- Select “Controller Settings” on the left sidebar.
- Switch the “Shot Meter” to “On”.
Leaving the meter on is better for beginner players.
This is because it’s easier to get the timing right for jump shots.
How to turn off the shot meter in NBA 2K23
Turn off the shot meter:
- Open the menu (press “Start).
- Scroll to the right of the top carousel and select “Options/Quit”.
