It can also be due to an outdated graphics card or you haven’t installed the latest Windows update.
If you’re playing in fullscreen, switching tabs can take a longer time.
Playing in windowed mode or borderless windowed usually fixes the issue.
How to alt tab faster in Overwatch 2
To alt tab faster in Overwatch 2, you need to go to your video settings.
Once you’re there, change your display mode to “Windowed” or “Borderless Windowed”.
This will increase the alt-tab speed by more than 2x.
You can also try disabling fullscreen optimizations by right-clicking Overwatch 2 > Properties > Compatibility > Disable full screen optimizations.
Here’s how to do this:
- Press “Esc” on your keyboard.
- Select “Options” in the menu.
- In your video settings, select the “Display Mode” dropdown box.
- Change it to “Borderless Windowed”.
- Select “Apply”.
