“But God has blessed me to have a kid before I got married,” she said. “And that is okay because this is my baby. I made it, so I’m gonna — you know, I made my bed, so I gotta lay in it. And I would never do anything to stop this from happening because this is a blessing God gave to me.”
Nelson elaborated that although she had once held a different mindset, she refuses to “discredit” herself for being pregnant. She also responded to social media critics insisting that she “needs” a ring or to be married, pointing out the hypocrisy in those comments and emphasizing her autonomy.
