Police have taken Michael McKee into custody, who is reportedly Monique Tepe‘s ex-husband. He was booked early today and is currently on an out-of-state hold.
According to 10TV, police filed an arrest warrant for McKee after tracing his vehicle’s movements on the night of the murders using surveillance footage.
Cops reported that McKee’s vehicle arrived in the area shortly before the killings and left shortly after. He is now facing two murder charges.
The Tepes were tragically killed in the early morning hours of December 30, 2025, and were found by concerned friends hours later. We previously shared the harrowing 911 audio that captured the intensity of the scene.
Police released video footage of a person of interest walking near the Tepes’ house around the time of the murders. They are asking the public for assistance in identifying this individual.
The Tepes had two young children, a four-year-old and a one-year-old, both of whom were unharmed and are currently staying with family members in the aftermath of this tragedy.
