On Wednesday (April 29), Erika released a compelling nine-minute video declaring that the United States has transformed into a place that feels unrecognizable, and she expressed concern that the truth is being “perverted.” During this video, she discussed her experiences at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, the alleged assassination attempt on President Trump, and her portrayal in both online platforms and traditional media.
Regarding her attendance at the dinner, Erika Kirk expressed her desire to confront the journalists who have allegedly “attempted to dehumanize” her. She articulated a wish to “meet some of them face-to-face,” stating, “Why have a conversation about me when you can have a conversation with me?” This highlights her commitment to addressing misconceptions directly.
In another segment of her video, Erika commented on comedians and the use of “white face.” Although she did not specifically name Druski, he had previously stirred controversy with a skit about “conservative women” that had audiences buzzing. The scenes in the skit appeared to echo real-life events, capturing facial expressions and even outfits associated with Mrs. Kirk. At that time, even President Trump suggested the possibility of her suing over such comedic portrayals. Candace Owens Denies Allegations and Clarifies Statements About Erika Kirk
On Thursday, just one day after Erika’s video went public, Candace Owens took to X to respond. She detailed how she previously dealt with Dave Chappelle’s mockery and reflected on Charlie Kirk’s reaction to a South Park episode that featured him.
“Were Charlie alive and the subject of the Druski skit, he would have laughed. Whether regarding Jimmy Kimmel, South Park, Chappelle, or otherwise, any person attempting to criminalize jokes is the enemy of free speech. Not one inch,” Candace Owens asserted.
When Dave Chappelle did a skit mocking me during BLM, I responded that I was flattered that he even knew my name.

Later, Owens shared a video in a subsequent tweet as evidence, in which the late Charlie Kirk expressed that conservatives should maintain “a good spirit about being made fun of” and develop a thick skin, emphasizing that any conversation about them is ultimately a win.
