Daphne Joy has become a hot topic on social media after a video emerged featuring her, Sean ‘Diddy Combs, and an alleged male escort engaging in explicit activities. The identities of the individuals involved, particularly the escort believed to be Sly Diggler, have not been confirmed by either Combs or the escort. Daphne Joy provided a brief statement before deleting it.

Daphne Joy Claims She Did Not Consent to Filming, Expresses the Pain of Revisiting Her “Abuse”
The controversial video reportedly shows Joy, Diddy, and Sly Diggler in a compromising position. The origin of the leak remains unknown. DJ Vlad has confirmed the authenticity of the video, referencing a prior interview with Sly.
Daphne Joy’s statement was shared on her Instagram Stories and was live for about 43 minutes before it was deleted. Despite its removal, The Shade Room has verified its authenticity. In her statement, Daphne expressed, “Everybody plays the fool sometimes, and I have been the biggest fool.” She acknowledged that during the time of the filming, her goal was to ensure her partner’s happiness, even if it meant compromising her own boundaries.
“I deeply loved him, and I believed he loved me too…It’s still so painful for me to process the harsh reality and truth of that relationship…but as time passes and in my quiet moments…I realize that it was far from love,” Joy wrote.
Daphne clarified that she “never consented” to the filming of the now-infamous video. She accused “the person in the video” of previously blackmailing her, demanding money while threatening to release the footage. It remains unclear whether she was referring to Diddy or the alleged escort, Sly Diggler. Joy mentioned that the man ultimately sold the tape to “a major media outlet,” which later contacted her for comments. After she informed them that the tape constituted “revenge porn and an extortion scheme,” the media company reportedly decided to withdraw from the story. “…I know they are probably reading this, and I want to say thank you for doing the right thing…even though years later, it’s come back to haunt me again,” she stated.
Daphne Joy admitted that it took her “all day to find the courage to rewatch [her] the abuse.” She described the experience of watching the video as triggering and distressing, highlighting the “inner turmoil and pressures” she encountered during those moments.
“I was not and was never in my right mind throughout the entirety of that relationship…seeing myself so lost is excruciating. I just want to hold that girl in that room and get her out of there…and tell her that wasn’t love and she didn’t need to do this for love. My heart is breaking as I type this. I wish so many things were different, but I can’t turn back time,”

Is “Jane” Actually Daphne? Internet Speculation Heightens
The release of this intimate video comes almost a year after “Jane,” a former girlfriend of Diddy, began giving testimony against him on June 5, 2025. During the trial, many social media users speculated that Daphne Joy might be the unnamed witness referred to as “Jane.” However, neither Daphne nor her legal representatives have confirmed her identity as the witness.
While on the stand, “Jane” recounted a romantic relationship that began in 2021. She revealed that she became financially reliant on him, including support for her living expenses. She disclosed that their intimate encounters frequently included other men, “hotel nights,” also known as “freak-offs,” and heavy drug use facilitated by Diddy. One encounter involved sexual activities with three men in succession, while another alleged incident in 2022 lasted for three and a half days, according to “Jane.” Initially, she indicated her reluctance to participate before clearly expressing her discomfort. A text she sent to Combs was read aloud in court:
“I’m so much more than being left in the dark of a hotel room. My heart is breaking. I don’t want to play this role in your life anymore. It’s dark, sleazy, and makes me feel disgusted with myself. It’s the only reason you have me around and why you pay for my house. I don’t want to feel obligated to perform and fear losing you…I just want to talk like adults and figure out where we go from here.”
Once again, Daphne Joy has never publicly confirmed her identity as the witness “Jane” or addressed the ongoing speculation.
Daphne Joy Previously Described Diddy as Her “Favorite Person”
In November 2022, Joy attracted attention when she openly associated herself with Diddy. This was around the same time he was publicly involved with Yung Miami, also known as his Shawty Wop. At his 53rd birthday celebration, while he was enjoying the festivities with Caresha and expressing gratitude for her affection, Daphne Joy took to social media to post birthday messages. She shared a photo of them together, with Combs turned away from the camera, captioning it, “Happy Birthday to my favorite person @diddy.” In another Instagram Story, she posted a picture of herself and Combs in the ocean with the caption, “Blessed.”
