Courtney Clenney Accepts Plea Agreement After Fatal Stabbing of Boyfriend
Courtney Clenney has accepted a plea deal after the deadly incident involving her boyfriend in their Miami, Florida condo. As reported by TMZ, prosecutors negotiated an agreement with the accused individual. Her lawyer, Frank Prieto, confirmed the details to the media outlet.
This OnlyFans model was initially charged with second-degree murder, which could have resulted in a life sentence. the specifics of the plea deal remain undisclosed. According to previous reports from The Shade Room, Clenney fatally stabbed 27-year-old Obumseli on April 3, 2022, prompting neighbors to call 911 after hearing a domestic disturbance.
Clenney Used Racial Slurs Against Obumseli
Investigative video footage shows Clenney covered in blood as Miami-Dade Police Department officers examined the scene. Clenney, a white woman, confessed to stabbing Christian, a Black man, with a knife. Despite her admission and the blood on her clothing, she was not arrested until four months later while in rehabilitation in Hawaii, according to the Miami Herald, before being extradited back to Florida. Her defense attorney later asserted a claim of self-defense.
Audio recordings retrieved from Christian’s phone prior to his death revealed Clenney frequently using a racial slur against him and threatening physical violence. In one particular recording, she repeatedly hurled the slur at Obumseli, accompanied by aggressive remarks like “man up b*tch” and “shut up and let me slap you, dumb a*s!”
Jessica Nwabuko, Christian’s Cousin, Describes Clenney as ‘Toxic’
Jessica Nwabuko, cousin of Christian, shared with The Shade Room that she had conversations with his friends who revealed troubling aspects of their relationship.
“I spoke to one of his friends and they mentioned that there was a history of domestic violence,” Nwabuko stated. “However, he never laid a hand on her. He was never the instigator of their arguments — she was a very toxic person.”
She further expressed, “You don’t truly appreciate those moments until they are gone,” adding, “It pains me that he didn’t survive this senseless act of violence.”
