Conversation Ads Update: Reddit Introduces New Features

Reddit has unveiled an exciting expansion of its Conversation Ads feature, empowering marketers to strategically place their promotional content directly within the chat section beneath Reddit posts.

This area is where most user engagement occurs on the platform, and Reddit has now announced that all advertisers will have the opportunity to display ads seamlessly between comments on conversation pages whenever they utilize conversation ads.

Reddit initially launched its revamped Conversation Ads last June, featuring enhanced media space and improved placement and display options to capture audience attention more effectively.

In addition, Reddit is now enhancing control and placement options for advertisers, providing them with even greater flexibility in managing their campaigns.

This enhancement opens up more opportunities for advertisers to engage with users at critical moments, as they research related products and options, making it a perfect time to introduce their offerings.

Reddit indicates that all advertisers utilizing Conversation Ads will automatically be included in available ad slots throughout the comments page “that align with their specified brand safety requirements.”

Moreover, Reddit has also partnered with ad verification firms DoubleVerify and IAS to enhance audience measurement and response tracking across conversation pages.
