The FBI has confirmed it lacks knowledge regarding any ongoing communication between the family of Savannah Guthrie and individuals suspected of kidnapping her mother. This revelation comes amidst a large-scale federal search operation that has now entered its second week.
The FBI stated on Monday that agents, analysts, and crisis management professionals are tirelessly working to reunite Nancy Guthrie, aged 84, with her family. However, they remain uninformed about any ransom-related interactions.
“The FBI is not aware of any continued communication between the Guthrie family and suspected kidnappers,” an agency representative stated. Currently, no suspects or persons of interest have been identified in this case.
Federal officials revealed they are managing a continuous command post in Tucson. This effort involves additional personnel from various FBI field offices nationwide. The operation includes crisis negotiators, analytical teams, and investigators who follow up on incoming tips.

On Monday,Savannah posted to Instagram saying she and her family refuse to lose hope regarding Nancy’s survival. They are urgently seeking public assistance in locating their missing mother.
The deadline for paying the alleged ransom expired at **PM Arizona time** on Monday. Nancy’s siblings expressed willingness to pay the **$6 million bitcoin ransom**, but there has been no activity on the bitcoin account thus far. p/>
Nancy was abducted early morning on February 1 after going out for dinner Saturday night but failed to attend church the following day.
A couple of days ago,Savannah Guthrie along with her siblings Annie and Camron shared another Instagram video agreeing to meet the ransom demands in hopes of bringing their mother home.
