A viral video showcases part of the altercation, revealing Claressa pointing her finger at Alycia and instructing her to refrain from discussing Claressa’s relationship with Papoose. Alycia Baumgardner and Event Host Respond to the Altercation

On Monday, May 18, Alycia Baumgardner issued an official statement regarding Claressa Shields’ slap. I stand firm in my integrity and what I have achieved. I carry my champion status with pride, in both title and in my conduct, what I protect, and what I refuse to tolerate.
