This impressive performance surpassed the previous view records set by the first Deadpool & Wolverine trailer. Even 24 hours after its release, while fans were still cracking light-hearted jokes about the chairs, the livestream maintained its position as the #2 trending stream on YouTube. Interestingly, Marvel later condensed the entire five-hour spectacle into a brief two-minute highlight reel for Twitter, yet the live experience remained unmatched.

This continued engagement is especially notable considering the lukewarm reception of Captain America: Brave New World. While many might expect that any other studio attempting to engage audiences for over five hours with a simple display of chairs could have faced disaster, Marvel manages to thrive in this peculiar scenario.
Marvel’s ambitious approach with Doomsday features an eclectic cast that includes two beloved Avengers A-Listers, the iconic Fantastic Four, a significant portion of the cast from the forthcoming Thunderbolts, and several recognizable faces from the Fox X-Men franchise, alongside a few stalwart MCU favorites.
