Walmart is set to offer the Switch 2 for online purchase at midnight on June 5, and it will also be available in physical stores on the same day. Notably, select super-centers located in the Pacific, Mountain, Hawaii, and Alaska regions will be open at midnight to facilitate in-store shopping.
Although Target has not announced any midnight events, it has indicated that the console will be available for purchase on launch day in stores. Additionally, Target will begin restocking its online inventory starting early on June 6, while supplies last, so be prepared to act quickly.
Costco plans to offer a Mario Kart World bundle, which includes a 12-month membership for Switch Online, on sale starting June 5, according to its official website. However, it remains unclear whether this big-box retailer will have standalone consoles available for in-store purchase on launch day. Additionally, a Costco membership is required to shop there.
